Sharon has been involved in training in the fields of conflict management, employee and workplace relations, and personal mastery, for over 20 years. In addition to being an active Conflict Dynamics trainer, Sharon is a consultant to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) on whose behalf she designs and develops programmes, and delivers training, both at the ILO’s International Training Centre in Turin, Italy and in different countries around the world.
As a trainer, Sharon draws on her practice as a mediator and facilitator, as well as on her skills and experience in working with people in her role of executive, business and personal development coach. She brings attention to managing participants in a way that maximises their engagement and learning, whilst also fostering space for fun and lightness. Having trained in many parts of the world, Sharon has a high level of cultural awareness and sensitivity. She is able to establish rapport with participants across cultures, backgrounds, and languages, and consistently maintains a level of comfort in the training room.
Sharon has a BA (LLB) from UCT and an Advanced Diploma (Labour Law) from RAU (now UJ). She is a CEDR-accredited mediator, and an internationally certified Integral and Ontological coach. She is a Regional Mediator for the World Bank for the SADC region and a consultant to the International Fund for Agricultural Development, an agency of the United Nations, based in Rome. Sharon is a SAQA-accredited education, training, and development practitioner.
